The diverse skill-sets and experience of the staff at Keystone Wildlife give us the background we need to conduct wildlife and plant inventories for many species.  Technical staff are experienced in a number of techniques for surveying various groups of wildlife, including: helicopter/fixed-wing surveys for large mammals and birds, ground transects and spot-counts for raptors, songbirds, small mammals and amphibians, call-playback surveys for owls and woodpeckers, and vegetation plots for plants.

Our project experience includes documenting forest-use by furbearers in the Peace River area (in order to predict relative abundance and distribution of those furbearers based on biophysical mapping), conducting breeding bird inventories in the Robson Valley, testing rare plant-association mapping methodologies, and more.
